Stay Play Explore – Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Please note that any Stay Play Explore ticket purchased before 1st June 2009 from any of the attractions, hotels, Leicester tourist information centre will not be extended and are no longer valid after this date. These tickets cannot be extended or refunded in any circumstances and will not be accepted for entry in to any of the participating Stay Play Explore attractions.

2009/2010 Terms and conditions

The individual Stay Play Explore tickets are as follows:

Family ticket constitutes 2 adults and 2 children (aged 3-16)

Adult ticket constitutes anyone aged 17 years +

Child ticket constitutes anyone aged 3-16 years.

Children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.

All tickets are valid until 31st December 2010. This offer is subject to change without notice.

Each ticket entitles the bearer to visit any 3 out of the 5 participating attractions: Conkers, National Space Centre, Snibston, Twycross Zoo and Bosworth Battlefield.

Ticket prices:

Tickets purchased in conjunction with hotel accommodation:

Family - £50
Adult - £20
Child - £10

Tickets purchased at the attractions, online or from Leicester Tourist information centre:

Family - £60
Adult - £24
Child - £12

Each attraction may only be visited once and your ticket must be stamped with the according ticket stub removed and retained by each attraction visited to gain valid attraction entry tickets. Please note that entry will be refused unless the corresponding sections of the ticket (main ticket and stubs) are presented together.

Stay Play and Explore tickets are not valid entry tickets to each of the participating attractions. They must be presented at each attraction ticketing desk and visitors will be issued the valid admission ticket(s) on the day of visit. They do not allow fast track entry or guarantee entry on busy days. Tickets cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Photocopies of Stay Play Explore tickets will not be accepted.

Tickets are not valid on the following occasions at attractions:

Stay Play Explore tickets may still be purchased on Bank Holidays and special event days, however they will not be valid for entry on these days and standard attraction admission tickets will apply for entry.

Please check individual attraction opening and closing dates and times before your visit. Admission with a Stay Play Explore ticket is not guaranteed on normal or special event days due to limited capacity at attractions. Please note that not all attractions are open all year and we cannot guarantee that all rides and attraction activities will be available or in operation when you visit attractions. Use of the ticket implies agreement with the terms & conditions for each of the attractions.

Stay Play Explore tickets cannot be sold in conjunction with any other special offer voucher or promotion. Neither the attractions, hotels will accept discount codes, vouchers or offers towards purchase of a ticket.

The management of each attraction reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons, reserve the right to require guests to leave the attractions at any time.
Failure to present a valid Stay Play Explore ticket(s) will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate applicable to the relevant Attraction, which will be non-refundable. Re-entry to the same Attraction on the same day may require a hand stamp.

Car park charges may apply at some attractions.

Tickets purchased online at www.goleicestershire.com will be posted by Royal Mail first class recorded delivery and may take up to 7 days to arrive at a UK postal address only. A confirmation email will be emailed directly to the email address provided once payment has been confirmed. Postal charges will apply.
Please be advised that promotions and/or discounts cannot be used when buying tickets online, by phone or in person.

Refunds and replacement tickets:
Refunds are not available in any circumstances in whole or part.
A  Stay Play Explore ticket will not be refunded in whole or part if any of the Attractions are no longer available or if any or part of the Attractions is removed or closed during the year.
We cannot refund or replace tickets for the reason of adverse weather conditions.

If a Stay Play Explore ticket is issued in error (for example, a Child ticket is issued instead of a Family ticket) it can only be replaced/re-issued by the original issuer of the ticket and a valid receipt/proof of purchase must be presented. Lost tickets:
Please keep your tickets with the according stubs safe as Leicester Shire promotions or the attractions and hotels participating in this promotion cannot replace lost/misplaced/stolen tickets. If ticket stubs detach or become loose, each of the attractions can only accept these with the corresponding sections of the complete ticket. If an incomplete ticket is presented the attractions reserve the right to refuse entry and will result in a charge of the “on the day” admission rate applicable to the relevant Attraction, which will be non-refundable.

 

Upgrading tickets:
All standard participating attraction tickets can be upgraded to Stay Play Explore tickets on the day of visit only, participating attractions or hotels will not be able to upgrade any tickets after any visit.
Visitors who have signed a Giftaid form and opted for a National Space Centre Annual Pass cannot upgrade to a Stay Play Explore ticket.
Tickets remain the property of Leicester Shire Promotions Ltd and are not for re-sale, are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Hotel rates and reservations:
All room prices shown are per family room, per night and exclude Stay Play Explore tickets.
Family room sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children. Child: Holiday Inn and Leicester Marriott under 12 years, Barceló Hinckley Island under 15 years. All reservations and rooms are subject to availability. Individual hotel terms and conditions apply. Details at time of booking.


The individual hotel rates can only be obtained with a valid Stay Play Explore ticket. All tickets can be purchased from any hotel either during or in advance of the stay. Tickets may be collected upon check in.

 

Data Protection:
We may from time to time analyse your data and pass usage. This information will remain confidential and will not be made available to external companies outside of Leicester Shire Promotions Ltd, other than for research purposes on the behalf of Leicester Shire Promotions and East Midlands Tourism.

Visitors are advised that for technical, operational and other reasons beyond our control, any activity, attraction or event may be closed or otherwise unavailable at any time.

By purchasing and using a Stay Play Explore ticket you accept these Terms and Conditions of use. Use of the Stay Play Explore ticket is in accordance with the regulations of each individual Attraction, copies of which are displayed or can be obtained at the attractions.

 

Complaints:
All complaints must be submitted in writing to Leicester Shire Promotions.

Your complaint will be investigated by an appropriate person. You will receive an acknowledgment in writing within five working days. We aim to fully reply within 10 working days. If a full response cannot be issued within this timescale we will contact you to confirm:

 

-          Who is dealing with the complaint

-          The reason for any delay

-          How long it will be before a full reply will be issued 

 

If we have made a mistake we will apologise and take any corrective action we can.

We monitor and report on the complaints we have received. We try to learn from them to
improve our processes and intend also that our complaints handling process reflects best practice and opportunities for learning.
