Things to see and do in Leicestershire
Leicestershire is a destination packed with things to see and do and cannot fail to inspire you, from great family attractions to top class restaurants, there's plenty to discover. Whether it’s museums and galleries, award winning attractions or fascinating heritage including Great Central Railway, Moira Furnace, Taylor’s Bellfoundry, Ashby Castle and Bradgate Park, there’s plenty to keep you busy. Although many of our festivals aren’t taking place this year, there lots of great places to eat, drink and explore in our rolling Leicestershire countryside including the National Forest.
During the latest national lockdown our attractions, festivals and experiences are closed. As restrictions and guidance changes we’d advise you to check individual websites and social media to make sure you have the most up to date information to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Many of our partners have signed up to the VisitEngland Good to Go scheme to support tourism businesses and providing reassurance to visitors.
