Charnwood Museum is a popular family friendly museum set in the heart of the beautiful Queens Park in the centre of Loughborough. The Museum features a wide range of exhibits which reflect local history and industries.
The permanent displays have been grouped into four areas: Coming to Charnwood, The Natural World of Charnwood, Living off the Land, and Earning a Living. Each contains exhibits from the past and present including interactive displays. There is also an under 5’s play room that changes based on the season.
There is one temporary exhibition space which displays groups from the local area and exhibits about the local area.
They offer events such as children’s workshops, gallery games and quizzes school workshops, and evening talks.
