Quorn & Woodhouse Station on the Great Central Railway has the added attraction, rare on a heritage railway, of a fully working sixty foot turntable.

There has been a mill on this site since the Dooms Day and the present mill dates back to the 18th century. The mill was once part of the Garendon Estate until the mid 1970s, and is now under private ownership. Open on special open days.
