NOT RE-OPENING UNTIL 2021 Hinckley and District Museum is housed in a row of restored thatched cottages dating from c.1680 and once used for framework knitting. Changing exhibitions each season on a variety of themes.

Opening details

Easter Monday to end of October on – Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays 10am – 4pm; Sundays 2pm – 4pm; Mondays (except Bank Holidays) to end of August 11am – 3pm. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

Open for group visits, during the season, on any day by appointment.

2019 prices:
Adults £2, children £1. Event day prices £2 per person.

Event day prices may vary.

Last admission is half an hour before closing. Group visits may be made at other times by arrangement.
