Explore this 75 acre wood where you will find young and ancient woodland, and wildflower meadow. is particularly worth a visit in spring, to appreciate the colourful displays of bluebells and other woodland wildflowers.

Located in Newtown Linford, from Leicester follow the A50 until you get to Glenfield, the County Hall roundabout. Take the third exit here which will bring you to a roundabout where it meets the A46 Leicester bypass. Take the second exit here which will lead you into Anstey. At the mini roundabout take the first on the left and this will lead you straight into Newtown Linford. Alternatively you can take the A50 straight through to Markfield and at the junction with the Field Head, take the thrid exit on your left, this is the Markfield Lane and the follow the sings for Newtown Linford.
