Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre - Perfect Break

Set in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre offers a relaxing and picturesque location to explore one of the turning points of British and Medieval history.

Set within the grounds of the Battlefield Country Park, the purpose built, colourful, multi award winning and interactive centre tells the story of the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, at which King Richard III lost his crown to Henry Tudor, the last time an English King died on the battlefield, which saw the start of the Tudor dynasty.

As well as the multi-award winning, permanent exhibition, featuring 8 modern galleries, on most weekends you will have the opportunity to join a guided walk led by an experienced Battlefield Guide to provide additional information and orientation (charges may be applicable).
